How Solar Paneles Work
As we are discovering, America has become far too dependent on foreign fuel imports, making us vulnerable to price shocks from increased demand, political instability in source countries and the increased likelihood of the weakening of the dollar. Because global warming continues to pose a problem, we need to decrease our reliance upon fossil fuels. As a result, we need to start looking for other ways to be more fuel efficient and generate our own power in a more environmentally sound manner.
One option that more people are looking at is solar homes. Solar power can be broken down into two categories – passive power, such as more windows to let sun in and heat the house with less power from other power sources, or solar cells which collect the sun’s energy and turn it into electricity. Utility companies will buy back excess power for some home owners who are not using as much as is being produced. Today, although our demand for energy is increasing, the availability of energy sources is decreasing.
The sun offers a free and easy way to produce energy. A solar roofing enables you to easily harness the sun’s energy. Think of the advantages; no land has to be developed or spoiled as a new power plant would, you will simply add solar panels to your roof to harness the sun’s energy. The real beauty of the idea is that, after installation, a solar roof will bring you energy without any further investment; there are no moving parts, nothing to wear out or need a repairman.
There is no fuel to pay for; the sun pours out its bounty for free. Your roof is just sitting there, make it work for you instead; get a solar roof. Using renewable energy sources, such as solar power to produce solar power electricity is, in my opinion, a wonderful way to manage the limited riches of the Earth! Why reduce the Earth’s property and maintain to use useless sources of force that contaminate the earth when we can tie together energy in a straight line from the sun? You may find the installation charges of solar heaters and panels a costly affair but the developing and third-world countries may find solar electricity a boon to fulfill their energy and power requirements.
Sunlight can be harnessed from every corner of the earth, and the costs of the initial set-up would be an incredible way to provide third-world countries with a means of supporting themselves! Rural villages in Africa could experience the wonders of television, toasters, and microwaves without having to worry about using up other resources or polluting the environment. I feel electricity from solar energy will soon become the vital energy source and many nations will make use of this energy.
It just might save some places in the world from constant darkness! Just imagine a world where everyone could have the morning with hot coffee while watching the world news Solar electricity could help globalize and reform the entire world.

I am so glad you mentioned Africa. Solar power to me seems the be the one source of energy that’s in abundance there and does not cost alot to get up and running. Plus it can’t be stolen or stopped from delivery to the people.
I’m not a big environmentalist but I know a good idea when I see one.
While this is true that solar panels are amazingly beneficial in most parts of the world. I believe that they won’t work everywhere due to the fact that they dont’ work when the sun is not out.
However! The potential for sunlight to help out many nations such as Africa is HUGE.
